Wacky Pineapple Cake

This sweet cake is a great treat for dessert or breakfast. Looks cool too!
Ingredients
Cake Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 large can crushed pineapple {not drained}
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- Flour and oil for greasing pans
Icing Ingredients
- 1 small can Pet milk
- 1 stick margarine
- 3/4 cup confectioners sugar
- Few drops of vanilla
- 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
- Mix all cake ingredients together and pour into large greased and floured liner pan.
- Bake in Dutch Oven for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
- To make icing, boil all ingredients except pineapple 3 minutes; let cool.
- When cake is baked and slightly cooled, punch holes in cake and pour icing over cake.
- Decorate top of cake with small can of crushed pineapple.
Notes
This recipe makes two round layers and enough icing for both.
